Karl Ravech

Karl Ravech is a prominent figure in American sports broadcasting, known for his extensive work in Major League Baseball coverage at ESPN. Ravech joined ESPN as a "SportsCenter" anchor, initially working alongside Craig Kilborn before expanding his role within the network's baseball programming. He later hosted "Baseball Tonight" and led ESPN's studio coverage of the MLB playoffs and World Series, recognized for his calm delivery and comprehensive sports knowledge.

Ravech's career at ESPN included anchoring "SportsCenter," hosting "Baseball Tonight," and serving as the lead play-by-play announcer for Major League Baseball coverage. He became the fourth primary play-by-play announcer in the history of "Sunday Night Baseball," working with former major leaguers David Cone and Eduardo Pérez. Ravech has also served as the voice of ESPN's Home Run Derby telecast. His expertise extends beyond baseball, providing commentary for ESPN and ABC coverage of the Little League World Series and the College World Series. During the winter, Ravech has contributed as a play-by-play commentator for ESPN's college basketball telecasts. He also appeared as himself in the Disney film "Million Dollar Arm."
