Kari Jobe

Kari Jobe is a Grammy-nominated, Dove Award-winning singer, songwriter, worship leader, and pastor recognized in the contemporary Christian music industry. Jobe has served as worship pastor at Gateway Church in Southlake, Texas, after ministering internationally with various groups. She holds a degree in pastoral studies and psychology from Dallas Baptist University. Her theological background and pastoral experience inform her approach to worship music and her connection with audiences.

Jobe released her debut album, featuring songs co-written with Chris Tomlin, Ed Cash, Paul Baloche, Klaus Kuehn, and Mia Fieldes. The album reached number three on the Christian Albums chart and appeared on the Billboard Top 200, earning her two Dove Awards. The record included the worship anthem "Revelation Song," which became widely adopted in churches and established Jobe as a prominent voice in contemporary worship. "Majestic" received the GMA Dove Award for Praise and Worship Album of the Year and produced the RIAA Gold Certified single "Forever." The studio album "Garden" followed, offering songs inspired by personal experiences.

Jobe co-wrote the global worship anthem "The Blessing" with Cody Carnes, Steven Furtick, and Chris Brown of Elevation Worship. The song reached number two on the Billboard Christian Songs chart, and "The Blessing (Live)" received a Grammy Award nomination. The song also won the GMA Dove Award for Worship Recorded Song of the Year.

Throughout her career, Jobe has received two Grammy Award nominations and ten Dove Award nominations, winning six.
