Terius Gray, known professionally as Juvenile, is a rapper, songwriter, and producer from New Orleans, Louisiana, recognized for his significant impact on Southern hip-hop and bounce music. Gray began writing professionally in his early teens and became a foundational figure in the development of bounce music, an uptempo style of hip-hop that blends elements of gangster rap and party music. He gained early recognition in New Orleans' bounce scene and is credited as the first Southern rapper to achieve national airplay with the track "Ha."

After releasing his debut studio album, "Being Myself," Gray signed with Cash Money Records and achieved mainstream success with "Solja Rags" and "400 Degreez." As a member of Hot Boys and as a solo artist, he scored multiple Top Ten albums, with "400 Degreez" reaching quadruple platinum status, propelled by singles such as "Ha" and "Back That Azz Up." Gray and Cash Money played a pivotal role in introducing Southern rap and bounce music to a national audience during a period dominated by East Coast and West Coast hip-hop.

Subsequent albums, including "Juve the Great" and "Reality Check," continued to perform well commercially, with singles like "Slow Motion" and "Nolia Clap" further establishing Gray's influence. His work often addresses themes of poverty, crime, and survival, offering unfiltered storytelling rooted in his experiences in New Orleans. Following Hurricane Katrina, Gray participated in relief efforts for affected communities and addressed the disaster's aftermath in his music.

Gray has sold more than 10 million albums globally. He has received the Key to the City from New Orleans and has been recognized for his performances at major events such as the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival. He has also participated in philanthropic initiatives, including partnerships with Crown Royal and Starter to support charitable causes in Louisiana.

Gray released the album "Boiling Point," marking a return to solo projects and featuring collaborations with artists such as Mannie Fresh, Birdman, B.G., DJ Khaled, Swizz Beatz, Timbaland, Jacquees, Trombone Shorty, Dee-1, and Megan Thee Stallion. The lead single gained viral attention on social media platforms, and an official remix featuring Megan Thee Stallion was released. Gray's ongoing work, including participation in the Cash Money Millionaires 30th Anniversary Tour, continues to influence hip-hop and introduce bounce music to new audiences.
