Justina Machado

Justina Machado is an actress who has demonstrated her versatility across a wide range of performances in both film and television. Notably, she received a Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series for her work in "Six Feet Under." From 2017 to 2020, she portrayed Penelope Alvarez in "One Day at a Time," a role that earned her two Imagen Awards for Best Actress - Television as well as a nomination for the Critics' Choice Television Award for Best Actress in a Comedy Series. In the film industry, her credits include roles in "Final Destination 2," "Torque," "The Call," "The Purge: Anarchy," and "All Together Now."

In 2023, Machado took on the leading role in the Amazon Prime Video black comedy-horror series "The Horror of Dolores Roach," which brought her widespread acclaim.
