Justin Morneau is a former professional baseball player, former special assistant to the Minnesota Twins, and former TV analyst.

With a natural left-handed swing and a strong work ethic, Morneau transitioned from Canadian amateur leagues to being drafted by the Minnesota Twins in 1999. His journey through the minor leagues was marked by steady progress, and he made his major league debut in 2003.

Morneau's breakout came in 2006 when he won the American League Most Valuable Player award. That season, he posted impressive offensive numbers and helped lead the Twins to a division title.
