Justin H. Min

Justin H. Min is an American actor whose career spans television, film, and voice acting. A graduate of Cornell University with degrees in government and English, Min began his professional journey in journalism and photography before transitioning to acting. He developed his skills through collaborations with Wong Fu Productions, appearing in projects such as the short film "How I Became an Adult" and the web series "Dating After College." Early television credits include appearances on "Faking It," "CSI: Cyber," and "Pure Genius."

Min gained recognition for his portrayal of Ben Hargreeves in the Netflix superhero series "The Umbrella Academy." Initially introduced as a recurring character, he was later promoted to series regular. Min worked closely with the actor portraying a young Ben to ensure consistency in the character's depiction across timelines. His performance in the series brought him international attention and established his presence in the entertainment industry.

In film, Min played the title role in A24's science fiction drama "After Yang," directed by Kogonada and co-starring Colin Farrell. He also led Randall Park's film adaptation of Adrian Tomine's graphic novel "Shortcomings," portraying a protagonist navigating questions of identity. Additional credits include the A24 limited series "Beef," where he appeared alongside Steven Yeun and Ali Wong, and the musical time-travel romance "The Greatest Hits." Min provided the English-language voice for Netflix's "Lost in Starlight," the first South Korean feature-length animated film released by the platform, and participated in the second season of the Korean Netflix reality competition series "The Devil's Plan." He also took on a leading role and executive producer duties in the indie feature "Handle With Care."

Outside of acting, Min has served as a UNICEF USA Ambassador, supporting the organization's initiatives and participating in program visits and emergency response efforts. In addition to his work in entertainment, Min is a writer and photographer and has been reported to be working on a book of essays, reflecting his interest in storytelling and the arts.
