Judah & The Lion

Judah & the Lion, an American folk band from Nashville, Tennessee, emerged on the music scene in 2011. Over the past decade, the band, currently comprising Judah Akers and Brian Macdonald, has released four studio albums and five EPs, establishing an eclectic musical style that blends Americana, bluegrass, folk, rock, and electropop. Their breakthrough single, "Take It All Back," topped Billboard's Alternative Songs chart for three consecutive weeks and received platinum certification in October 2019, prompting Billboard magazine to name them as their first "Chartbreaker" artist in January 2017. In addition, their song "Why Did You Run?" garnered international recognition when it was included in the EA Sports FIFA 20 soundtrack.

With a reputation for engaging performances, Judah & the Lion have graced the stage on multiple widely-viewed television shows, including "Late Show with David Letterman," "Conan," "The Late Late Show with James Corden," "Good Morning America," "Jimmy Kimmel Live!," "Today," and "Late Night with Seth Meyers." The band's 2019 album "Pep Talks" marked a significant milestone in their career, featuring collaborations with renowned artists Kacey Musgraves and Jon Bellion. They continued to make waves in the music industry in 2020 with the single "Never Give Up on You," which was chosen as the official club anthem of the Major League Soccer team Nashville SC.

The release of their fourth album, "Revival," in June 2022, often referred to as their "pandemic record," demonstrated the band's resilience and adaptability in uncertain times. Their fifth studio album, "The Process," released in May 2024, further solidified their position in the music industry, featuring contributions from artists Ruston Kelly and K.Flay. Judah & the Lion's music has not only resonated with audiences but also earned them recognition from industry professionals, as evidenced by their iHeartRadio Music Award for Best New Rock/Alternative Rock Artist in 2018. Their song "Suit and Jacket" has been certified Gold by the RIAA, and their music has been featured in ESPN's college football anthem.
