Josh McDaniels is the Offensive Coordinator for the New England Patriots and one of the most accomplished offensive strategists in professional football. Known for his creative play design, quarterback development, and game-planning precision, McDaniels has played a central role in shaping one of the most successful offensive systems in modern NFL history.
McDaniels began his coaching career with the Patriots in 2001 as a personnel assistant and quickly rose through the organization. By 2006, he was named quarterbacks coach, where he helped develop Tom Brady during one of the most productive stretches of Brady’s career. He became the team’s offensive coordinator in 2012, guiding an offense that consistently ranked among the league’s best in scoring and efficiency.
During his tenure with New England, McDaniels helped lead the Patriots to multiple Super Bowl championships and numerous playoff appearances. His offenses are known for their adaptability, situational awareness, and ability to maximize the strengths of their players.
