Josh Groban

Josh Groban is a singer, songwriter, and actor known for his distinctive vocal style and success in the music and entertainment industry. A Grammy Award-nominated artist, Groban has released multiple multi-platinum albums and DVDs, performed in live concerts worldwide, and appeared in both comedic and dramatic roles in film and television.

Groban began his career as a teenager, working for producer David Foster as a rehearsal singer for high-profile events, including the California gubernatorial inauguration of Gray Davis and the Grammy Awards, where he rehearsed "The Prayer" with Céline Dion as a stand-in for Andrea Bocelli. This opportunity led to a recording contract and rapid rise in the pop and classical crossover music scene.

The production received 12 Tony Award nominations, and Groban earned a Tony Award nomination for Best Actor in a Leading Role in a Musical, as well as the Outstanding Broadway or Off-Broadway Debut Performance at the Theatre World Awards. He later returned to Broadway in the title role of Stephen Sondheim's "Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street," opposite Annaleigh Ashford, in a production directed by Thomas Kail that was nominated for eight Tony Awards. Groban received his second Tony Award nomination for this performance.

In addition to his music and theater work, Groban has appeared on television series such as "Glee," "The Simpsons," "The Office," "CSI: NY," and "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia," as well as in feature films including "Coffee Town," "Muppets Most Wanted," and "Crazy, Stupid, Love." He played a detective in the TV comedy series "The Good Cop" opposite Tony Danza and co-hosted the Tony Award ceremony with Sara Bareilles.
