Joseph James Nantomah

Joseph James Nantomah, known as The Black Mentor, is a Nigerian-American entrepreneur, real estate investor, life coach, and philanthropist recognized for his work in real estate investment, business coaching, and wealth-building education. After immigrating to the United States and settling in Wisconsin, Nantomah established himself in the real estate industry, achieving millionaire status through strategic investments and business development. His early career in Nigeria included founding a project management training program in Lagos, where he trained more than 3,000 banking professionals from institutions across the country before transitioning to the American real estate market.

Nantomah's entrepreneurial activities in the U.S. accelerated after he invested his remaining savings into real estate education, a decision he describes as pivotal. He subsequently founded and operated more than 16 businesses, including Investors Capital LLC, Nantomah Capital LLC, and Mentor America LLC. Through Mentor America, Nantomah developed The Black Mentor brand and delivered life and business coaching to a global audience, reaching more than 500,000 individuals with training focused on purpose, wealth creation, and personal development. He also launched "Wealth Flow," a three-day boot camp providing instruction in sales, marketing, real estate, and wealth-building strategies.

Nantomah has received recognition from professional organizations, including being named Top Executive Business Coach of the Year and Top Global Impact CEO of the Year by the International Association of Top Professionals. He has been recognized as a VIP Member by Global Who's Who and as a Top Business Owner by Marquis Who's Who, and was featured on the cover of TIP Magazine. Nantomah holds an honorary doctorate in real estate education from American Heritage University of Southern California and has been featured in The Wall Street Journal, as well as on Fox News, CBS, NBC, and ABC.

In addition to his business ventures, Nantomah serves as president of Prosperity for Africa, a nonprofit organization supporting Black-owned businesses and providing grants for environmental, educational, and human services initiatives across Africa. He has provided food assistance to more than 25,000 individuals worldwide and supported small businesses in Nigeria, Ghana, and Rwanda with equipment and grants. Nantomah also hosted the Africa-America Wealth Conference, an international event bringing together entrepreneurs and thought leaders to promote wealth-building collaboration.

Nantomah has faced legal challenges, including a federal indictment alleging operation of a fraudulent fix-and-flip real estate scheme and a parallel civil case by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. He has pleaded not guilty to all charges and denies any wrongdoing, maintaining his innocence as legal proceedings continue.
