José G. Zelaya

José G. Zelaya is a motivational speaker, disability advocate, entrepreneur and SAG-AFTRA actor whose life story defies every limitation ever placed on him. Born in Tegucigalpa, Honduras, Zelaya was deaf in his right ear and lost his left eye in 1984, yet he refused to let his disabilities define his ceiling. By his early 20s, Zelaya had built a decade-long career as a professional actor and salsa dancer, earning film credits that include "Pirates of the Caribbean: The Black Pearl." He walked away from Hollywood at the height of his career to build what he values most, a family, and never looked back.

Zelaya speaks to colleges, corporations, faith communities and disability organizations across Southern California and beyond, delivering messages that are raw, real and impossible to ignore. He has spoken at Chaffey College, FIDM, the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising, and crypto trading events, and has delivered live, one-on-one coaching sessions with audiences watching in real time.
