Jordy Nelson

Jordy Nelson is a former NFL wide receiver known for his reliability and productivity on the field. Nelson began his football career as a walk-on at Kansas State, where he played for the Kansas State Wildcats and earned consensus All-American honors. After redshirting on the Big 12 Championship team, Coach Bill Snyder moved Nelson to wide receiver, a position where he would excel and later be selected by the Green Bay Packers with the 36th overall pick in the NFL Draft.

During his NFL career, Nelson became a key figure in the Green Bay Packers' offense, forming a notable quarterback-wide receiver partnership with Aaron Rodgers. Nelson led the Packers in their Super Bowl XLV victory over the Pittsburgh Steelers with nine receptions for 140 yards and a touchdown, setting a franchise record for most receiving yards in a Super Bowl. He achieved career highs in receptions, receiving yards, and touchdowns in a single season, setting the Packers' single-season franchise record for receiving yards and earning a Pro Bowl selection and a spot on the Associated Press Second-Team All-Pro roster.

After missing a season due to a torn ACL, Nelson returned to record 97 receptions for 1,257 yards and 14 touchdowns, earning Comeback Player of the Year honors. He played through injuries, including broken ribs during the NFC title game, and contributed significantly to the Packers' postseason efforts.
