Jordan Stolz

Jordan Stolz is a long-track speed skater who has left his mark on the sport from a young age. Making his senior international debut at age 17 during the 2021-22 ISU Speed Skating World Cup, Stolz quickly rose to prominence, breaking multiple junior world records and American records in speed skating events such as the 500 meters and 1000 meters. This early success led to his participation in the 2022 Winter Olympics, where he became the youngest man to win an individual World Cup speed skating race in November 2022.

Stolz's achievements only accelerated from there. At the 2023 World Single Distances Speed Skating Championships, he won three gold medals in the 500 meters, 1000 meters, and 1500 meters, thus becoming the youngest single-distance world champion in history and the first male skater to win three individual gold medals at a single championship. His prowess continued into the following year, where he set a world record in the 1000 meters with a time of 1:05.37 during the 2023-24 ISU Speed Skating World Cup. At the 2024 World Allround Speed Skating Championships, he won the gold medal and set a world record, becoming the youngest male World Allround champion in 46 years. Stolz has also received the Oscar Mathisen Award in 2023 and 2024, as well as the Eric Heiden Athlete of the Year award in those same years.

Stolz's performance at the 2026 Winter Olympics further solidified his reputation. He won gold medals in the 500 meters and 1000 meters, setting Olympic records in both events, and won silver in the 1500 meters.
