Jordan Berke

Jordan Berke is a recognized leader in global retail and ecommerce, with more than two decades of experience transforming operations for major retailers in the digital era. Berke began his career as an early leader in digital marketing in the United States before moving to China to lead Walmart's e-commerce and in-store digital initiatives, spending over ten years in the region. At Walmart, he held roles in merchandising, operations, finance, strategy, and ecommerce, contributing significantly to the company's digital transformation.

Berke played a key role in launching e-commerce for Walmart's wholesale club, Sam's Club, in China and expanded O2O (online-to-offline) offerings across multiple regions. He developed expertise in retail technology, e-commerce, and mobile commerce, leading partnerships with JD and Tencent and pioneering on-demand commerce and micro-fulfillment. Berke established Walmart's first dark store network and mobile-checkout-based stores, and led the development of Scan & Go, a mini program within WeChat, which is now regarded as a benchmark for retail digitalization.

Berke received Walmart's Sam Walton Entrepreneur of the Year Award in China for his work in ecommerce innovation and served as Chairman of the company's Global Omnichannel Forum, guiding omnichannel strategy across 28 markets. His leadership was instrumental in Walmart's shift to an omnichannel business model.

Tomorrow Retail Consulting specializes in ecommerce channel strategy, in-store digitization, and customer data management, serving clients across North America, Asia, and Africa, as well as digital platforms enabling commerce within their ecosystems.
