Jonathan Togo

Jonathan Togo is an American actor whose work spans stage, film, and television. A graduate of Vassar College's theater program, Togo began his career on stage before transitioning to Hollywood. After earning his Bachelor of Arts, Togo moved to New York City to pursue stage work, appearing in productions of "Suburbia," "Conduct of Life," "Romeo and Juliet," and "Our Country's Good," for which he received the Margaret Thatcher Kazan Award. He also studied at the National Theater Institute of the Eugene O'Neill Theater Center, further developing his acting skills before relocating to Hollywood.

Togo made his television debut with a recurring role on the science fiction series "Special Unit 2" on UPN. He later appeared in the Sundance Director's Lab short film "Up" and had guest roles on the television series "Judging Amy," "Law & Order," and "Ed." His early film credits include a role in "Mystic River," a production that received six Academy Award nominations including Best Picture, which brought Togo increased visibility in the film industry.

Togo's career advanced when he joined the cast of the CBS crime drama "CSI: Miami" during its third season, portraying detective-turned-crime scene investigator Ryan Wolfe. He appeared as a series regular on "CSI: Miami," playing Ryan Wolfe in 182 episodes.

In addition to his television and film work, Togo wrote and directed the web series "My Best Friend Is My Penis" for Atom.com, demonstrating his interest in content creation. He also starred in the web series "Casted: The Continuing Chronicles of Derek Riffchyn, Greatest Casting Director in the World. Ever," playing the lead role of Derek, with Justin Long as his assistant, Scott. Togo later joined the cast of "Covert Affairs" in its fourth season.

Togo's career includes roles in streaming content, such as Sean McKay in the family drama "Little Wing," a Netflix adaptation of a memoir about a girl's passion for pigeon racing, and a recurring role as Malchus in season 5 of the historical drama "The Chosen." From his award-winning stage work to his long-running role on one of television's most-watched franchises, Togo maintains a presence across multiple entertainment platforms, including crime drama, streaming series, and web content.
