Jonathan Medved

Jonathan Medved is a serial entrepreneur and venture capitalist recognized as a pioneering figure in Israel's high-tech industry. Medved is the founder and CEO of OurCrowd, an online global venture investment platform. He has been cited by The Washington Post as one of Israel's leading high-tech venture capitalists, by The New York Times among the top 10 most influential Americans who have impacted Israel, and by The Jerusalem Post as one of the 50 most influential Jews. Medved has spent decades at the forefront of global technology investment. The book "Start-up Nation" describes him as one of Israel's business ambassadors.

Before founding OurCrowd, Medved co-founded Israel Seed Partners, one of Israel's first venture capital funds, which invested in more than 60 companies including Shopping.com, BusinessLayers, Cyota, and Compugen. Medved also served as co-founder and CEO of Vringo, a company focused on the innovation, development, and monetization of mobile technologies and intellectual property, which he led to an initial public offering. Including the OurCrowd portfolio, Medved has backed more than 500 technology startups as a venture capitalist and angel investor.
