Jon Rahm

Jon Rahm is a professional golfer recognized for his achievements on the global golf stage, including two major championships and a tenure as world number one. Rahm has won the U.S. Open and the Masters Tournament, becoming the first Spanish golfer to win the U.S. Open and the first European player to claim both the U.S. Open and the Masters. His Masters victory coincided with what would have been the 66th birthday of Seve Ballesteros, a significant figure in Spanish golf who influenced Rahm's career.

Rahm was born with a clubfoot, requiring surgery at birth and resulting in limited mobility in his right ankle. He has worn specially adapted golf shoes since childhood and developed a compact swing to accommodate his physical condition. This distinctive swing has contributed to his reputation as a powerful and consistent ball-striker on the PGA Tour and DP World Tour.

As an amateur, Rahm attended Arizona State University, where he became the first two-time winner of the Ben Hogan Award and held the top spot in the World Amateur Golf Ranking for a record 60 weeks. He also received the Jack Nicklaus Award and was a four-time NCAA All-American. Upon turning professional, Rahm secured victories on both the PGA Tour and European Tour during his first season.
