John Early

John Early is a comedian, actor, writer, and producer known for his work in stand-up, sketch comedy, and musical performance within the alternative comedy scene. After training at New York University's Atlantic Acting School, Early became a prominent figure in New York's alt-comedy circuit, performing at venues such as Cake Shop, the Bell House, and Ars Nova, where he serves as an artist in residence and comedy curator, hosting the monthly variety show "Showgasm." His solo show "Literally Me" received multiple New York Times Critics' Pick designations, establishing his reputation as a live performer.

Early's television career expanded when he wrote, executive produced, and starred in his own episode of the Netflix series "The Characters," showcasing his range in comic personas. He gained national recognition for his role as Elliott Goss in the dark comedy "Search Party," which aired on TBS and HBO Max. His performance earned a Critics' Choice Television Award nomination. Early has also appeared in "The Afterparty" on Apple, "I Think You Should Leave with Tim Robinson," "Broad City," "High Maintenance," "Portlandia," "30 Rock," and HBO's "Los Espookys."
