Joe Buck

Joe Buck is a seasoned sports broadcaster with a career spanning over three decades. He began his career at Fox Sports in 1994 and served as the lead play-by-play announcer for Fox's NFL and MLB coverage until 2021. Buck has a plethora of notable calls under his belt, including Mark McGwire's 62nd home run in 1998 and the final outs of three World Series, where the Red Sox, White Sox, and Cubs ended their long championship droughts. Notably, from 1996 to 2021, Buck called 23 World Series and 21 All-Star Games for Fox, the most of any play-by-play announcer on network television.

Alongside his broadcasting career, Buck has demonstrated a knack for hosting. He signed with HBO in 2009 to host a sports-based talk show called "Joe Buck Live" and also hosted "Undeniable with Joe Buck," a sports interview series that ran from 2015 to 2018. He hosts the podcast "Daddy Issues" with Ollie Hudson. His charity work includes hosting a celebrity pro-am golf tournament, the "Joe Buck Classic," to raise money for St. Louis Children's Hospital. Buck has also made appearances in various television programs and films, such as "Pitch," "American Dad!," "Family Guy," "Conan," "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," and "Brockmire."

Buck's contribution to sports broadcasting has been recognized with various accolades, including the Ford C. Frick Award from the National Baseball Hall of Fame, induction into the Sports Broadcasting Hall of Fame, and eight Sports Emmy Awards. He has also received the Pete Rozelle Radio-Television Award and was inducted into the NSMA Hall of Fame in 2024. In 2022, Buck transitioned to ESPN/ABC as the lead broadcaster for "Monday Night Football," where he continues to contribute his knowledge and passion for sports.
