Joanna Gaines

Joanna Gaines began her entrepreneurial journey in 2003, partnering with her husband, Chip Gaines, in his house flipping business and establishing the retail store, Magnolia Market. Their combined efforts and passion for home renovation led them to co-host the popular HGTV series "Fixer Upper" in 2013. Gaines's influence didn't stop there. In 2017, she launched the "Hearth & Hand with Magnolia" collection at Target, further extending her reach within the home décor industry. Two years later, she unveiled an exclusive collection for Anthropologie and opened Magnolia Press, a coffee shop located in Waco, Texas.

Joanna and Chip Gaines's shared vision culminated in the creation of the Magnolia Network. Initially soft-launched in 2020, the network officially began its operation in 2022, featuring "Fixer Upper: Welcome Home" as an inaugural program. The network expanded its "Fixer Upper" franchise, introducing "The Castle" in 2022 and "The Hotel" in 2023, among other original programming. In 2025, Gaines is back on screen with her new series "Mini Reni."

In addition to her on-screen and business pursuits, Gaines has written and co-authored numerous books, earning her the title of a New York Times bestselling author. Her literary contributions range from cookbooks, such as "Magnolia Table," to memoirs like "The Magnolia Story" and design guides like "Homebody." She has also ventured into children's literature, crafting books like "We Are the Gardeners" and "The World Needs Who You Were Made to Be."
