Joan Jett and The Blackhearts, a rock band formed in Los Angeles in 1979, have made significant contributions to the rock music industry. Their popular singles, such as "Bad Reputation", "I Love Rock 'n Roll", and "I Hate Myself for Loving You," have made notable impacts on the Billboard Hot 100. The band, comprising Joan Jett, Kenny Laguna, Gary Ryan, Lee Crystal, and Ricky Byrd, was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2015, a testament to their influence and success in the industry.
