Joachim Hensch

Joachim Hensch began his career in the garment manufacturing world as a tailor in bespoke couture. He climbed the ranks to become the Managing Director of HUGO BOSS Group's largest factory, located in Izmir, which employs 3800 individuals. After leaving his role at HUGO BOSS in 2020, Hensch founded Joachim Hensch Consulting, which specializes in creating smart, automated digital factories using Industry 4.0 tools and Nexera Solutions.

Under Hensch's leadership, the Hugo Boss Factory in Izmir underwent a transformation, evolving into a 100% smart, automated, and digital factory. This achievement has earned both Hensch and the factory recognition on the global stage. The Izmir factory is now considered a role model for the global industry in terms of implementing Industry 4.0 measures and becoming a flexible, reactive, Smart Factory. Hensch's innovative strategies and expertise in digitalization have positioned him as a world reference and leading expert in digitalization, strategy, and industry 4.0.

Hensch is passionate about utilizing technology and innovation to increase profits and empower people. He aims to help companies make better decisions, improve profitability for growth and expansion, and exceed customer expectations. He has shared his insights on turning regular factories into smart factories and the importance of a digital twin for future success in TEDx talks. His industry insights and thought leadership have also earned him recognition as a Key Opinion Leader in the 2021 Top 100 LinkedIn list and a position on the Tyto Top Tech Influencers List 2020.
