Jim McLaughlin is a one of the worlds most decorated public opinion experts, strategic consultants and political strategists who has helped to elect Presidents, Prime Ministers, Speakers of the House and a Senate Majority Leader.

McLaughlin has helped to elect over 70 members of Congress, 16 U.S. Senators, 10 Governors, numerous Mayors and scores of other elected officials in the United States and internationally. He also serves as a consultant and market research strategist to some of America’s major companies and most iconic brands.

In 2016 and 2024, McLaughlin helped to elect President Donald J. Trump. McLaughlin & Associates has been widely credited for its accurate polling in predicting a Donald Trump victory. President Trump has said McLaughlin’s polling “was right on the money and totally accurate” days after his most recent victory. McLaughlin is a graduate of Syracuse University (Utica Campus) with a B.S. in Business and Marketing and he is also a graduate of the American Campaign Academy. He has lectured on politics and public opinion at Yale, Harvard, Columbia, Holy Cross, North Carolina State and Rowan University.
