Jim Jarmusch

Jim Jarmusch is a director, writer, actor, producer and composer recognized for his contributions to independent film and his distinct use of deadpan humor and wit. Jarmusch's film "Stranger Than Paradise" is credited with spearheading the American independent film movement and breaking conventions of traditional Hollywood filmmaking. The film was selected for preservation in the United States National Film Registry by the Library of Congress and earned the Caméra d'Or at the Cannes Film Festival.
