At 16, Clark won a national modeling competition and signed with Models 1. She initially combined modeling with her studies at the London School of Economics, where she pursued a law degree, but left the program after 18 months to focus on modeling. Clark worked with clients such as Hermes, Redken, and L'Oreal, and appeared in magazines including Vogue, Vogue India, Elle, and Marie Claire.
