Jesse Iwuji

Jesse Iwuji is a key speaker who has transitioned from a career in the U.S. Navy to the NASCAR tracks. As a former Naval surface warfare officer, Iwuji served actively for seven years before transitioning to the Navy Reserve. His experience in the military has sharpened his leadership skills and dedication. Shifting focus to NASCAR, Iwuji emerged as one of a select few African-Americans in the sport. He has used his position to promote diversity and inclusion, and he is an ambassador for both the military and NASCAR communities.

Iwuji has driven for teams such as Patriot Motorsports Group, Reaume Brothers Racing, and Copp Motorsports, handling vehicles from manufacturers like Chevy, Toyota, and Ford.

Iwuji is not only a professional stock car racing driver, but he is also the primary owner of Patriot Motorsports Group and Jesse Iwuji Motorsports, which he started with Emmitt Smith in August 2021 for the 2022 season. He made his NASCAR Camping World Truck Series debut in August 2018 and his NASCAR Xfinity Series debut in August 2020. In 2021, Iwuji attempted his first Daytona Xfinity Series race with Mike Harmon Racing. He has been recognized within the NASCAR community for expanding his horizons and contributing to diversity efforts within the industry. He received the NASCAR Diverse Driver Award in February 2017.
