Jesús Guerra

Jesús Guerra is president of Energy for Pilot Company, one of North America's largest fuel and travel center operators. Guerra brings more than 25 years of experience in the energy sector and oversees the company's integrated fuel supply chain, including upstream infrastructure and asset management, business development, procurement, logistics, transportation, and petroleum pricing. He and his team also manage the development and innovation of electric and alternative energy solutions, as well as the growth and optimization of Pilot's traditional and renewable fuels.

Guerra's career spans key roles in the energy and commodities industries. He spent more than seven years in various positions within the commodities division of Merrill Lynch, including operations, accounting, middle office, finance transformation, and business planning. He later joined Noble Americas Corp., the oil arm of Noble Group, where he served as oil liquids business manager, supporting the global oil liquids trading business. This experience provided Guerra with a comprehensive perspective on both the financial and operational aspects of the energy sector.

Guerra joined Pilot Company as director of trade operations and advanced through the organization before being named to his current role. His leadership at Pilot Energy places him at the helm of one of North America's significant energy supply operations. Pilot Company operates more than 900 locations across 44 states and five Canadian provinces, serves an average of 1.2 million customers per day, and manages North America's third-largest fuel tanker fleet, supplying approximately 12 billion gallons of fuel annually.

Guerra leads Pilot's strategy for both traditional and next-generation fuels, overseeing the company's fuel supply chain, upstream infrastructure, asset management, logistics, transportation, and sales. He also directs the development of electric and alternative energy solutions and the expansion of traditional and renewable fuels. Pilot Company is a major provider of biodiesel and renewable fuels and a developer of low-carbon fueling alternatives, positioning Guerra's role as central to the company's long-term energy strategy. His expertise in energy infrastructure, supply chain management, and alternative fuels contributes to ongoing innovation in the sector.
