Jeremy Ben-Ami is president and founder of J Street, the pro-Israel, pro-peace lobby. He has nearly 30 years of experience in government, politics, and communications. He served as President Clinton's deputy domestic policy adviser and as policy director on Howard Dean's 2004 presidential campaign. Ben-Ami was the communications director for the New Israel Fund and started the Israeli firm Ben-Or Communications while living in Israel in the late 1990s. Previously, he spent nearly a decade working in New York City government.
