Jennifer Stojkovic

Jennifer Stojkovic is a leader in food technology, venture capital, and sustainability, recognized for her work at the intersection of technology, food innovation, and women's leadership. Stojkovic began her career as a Silicon Valley lobbyist, representing major technology companies such as Google, Meta, Microsoft, Airbnb, and Y Combinator in regulatory affairs. Her experience in policy and industry standards provided her with a comprehensive understanding of innovation and technology ecosystems.

Stojkovic leveraged her expertise to launch a "Future of Food" partnership series, connecting CEOs and founders from established technology brands with emerging leaders in the food technology sector. This initiative reflected her commitment to advancing sustainable food systems and fostering collaboration between technology and food innovation.

Recognizing the challenges faced by female founders in food technology, Stojkovic founded the Vegan Women Summit (VWS), an events and media organization dedicated to supporting women leaders in the plant-based and alternative protein industries. VWS has expanded from an initial gathering of 250 participants to a global network of more than 100,000 women professionals across six continents. The organization produces the Vegan Women Summit conference, VWS Pathfinder pitch competition for women founders, and VWS Connect, a food technology job networking series.

Stojkovic is the author of the bestseller "The Future of Food Is Female," the first book to focus on women in alternative protein. The book features interviews with industry leaders such as Heather Mills, Miyoko Schinner, and Pinky Cole, and explores the contributions of women to the evolution of sustainable food systems.

As a co-founder of Joyful Ventures, a climate innovation fund focused on food technology and sustainable proteins, Stojkovic has contributed to the growth of plant-based and cultivated protein startups. Joyful Ventures is recognized as the first plant-based fund to serve as an Official Nominator for The Earthshot Prize.

Stojkovic has been featured on Good Morning America, Fortune, and Fast Company, and is a frequent speaker at events including SXSW, the United Nations, Dreamforce, and Harvard. She has contributed to Rolling Stone and appeared in national outlets such as the Washington Post, Bloomberg, and Politico.
