Jennifer Rubin

Jennifer Rubin is an American political commentator and author whose career spans law, journalism, and media. Before entering opinion writing, Rubin practiced labor law for two decades, an experience that informs her analysis of political and legal issues. She built her journalistic credentials at publications including Commentary, PJ Media, Human Events, and The Weekly Standard before joining The Washington Post, one of the nation's leading newspapers.

Rubin was hired by The Washington Post to provide a conservative perspective in its opinion section, contributing commentary for her "Right Turn" column and blog. She wrote reported opinion for The Washington Post, covering domestic and foreign politics, policy, the conservative movement, the Republican and Democratic parties, and challenges to Western democracies.
