Jennifer Kaufman

Jennifer Kaufman is a corporate speaker, neurodiversity consultant, and autism inclusion expert with more than 20 years of leadership experience in specialized education. She helps organizations build autism-aware workplaces, support neurodivergent employees and their families, and develop frontline teams who know how to respond when it matters most.

As founder of First Response Autism Solutions LLC, Kaufman designs and delivers training for law enforcement agencies, police academies, campus security teams, and corporate safety personnel - giving them the tools to handle real-world interactions with individuals with autism with confidence and competence.

Her 2025 book, "Grandparenting on the Spectrum: A Journey from Both Sides of the Desk," grew out of a uniquely personal and professional experience - spending two decades guiding families through the autism journey, then living it herself when her own grandchild was diagnosed. That dual perspective is what sets her apart as a speaker and trainer.

Kaufman has appeared on CBS, NBC, and numerous national podcasts, and speaks to corporations, professional associations, universities, and conferences. She holds graduate degrees in educational technology and educational leadership, with certifications as both a New Jersey principal and superintendent.
