Jennifer Fan

Jennifer Fan is an investment executive based in Singapore with a career spanning more than two decades in asset management across Asia. As chief Asia officer at Freemont Capital, Fan leads the firm's executive management and investment activities across public markets, private equity, and hedge fund programs in Asia. She has an investment track record across asset classes, with over $15 billion in public and private transactions.

Fan attended Harvard University, Harvard Business School, and the National University of Singapore, providing her with a multidisciplinary foundation in finance and leadership.

Fan's career includes roles at leading investment institutions in Asia. She served as portfolio manager for private credit and public equities and multi-strategy portfolio management at OCP Asia, also known as Orchard Capital Partners, an alternative investment firm recognized for its performance in distressed and special situations, fixed income, high yield, and credit funds. She later served as managing director at Heritas Capital, where she was responsible for private equity strategy, AUM development, and investment and business returns across capital structures, including private equity, structured credit and equity, and mezzanine instruments. Heritas Capital is a licensed fund manager with a presence in Singapore and Australia, managing more than $500 million in assets with sector funds focusing on healthcare, education, resources, and energy.

Previously, Fan was senior vice president of the executive office at Fullerton Financial Holdings, where she managed strategic and digital partnerships, digital transformation, and investments. Earlier in her career, she led, structured, negotiated, and executed over $10 billion in investment, M&A, and divestment transactions globally, defining investment strategies and leading teams in strategic investments across the financial services sector. Her expertise includes business analytics, disruptive thinking, female leadership, and e-commerce. Fan is a keynote speaker on topics at the intersection of finance, technology, and innovation.

In addition to her investment career, Fan is committed to social causes. She sits on the board of Resilience Collective, a mental health charity focused on peer support initiatives for persons in recovery. Fan also serves on the board of Caregivers Alliance and has contributed to the organization's advocacy and fundraising efforts. She engages with sustainability issues, participating in discussions on biodiversity and sustainability in the Asia Pacific, including blended finance, regulatory innovation, and the role of financial institutions in scaling nature-positive investment. Through her work in finance and philanthropy, Fan is recognized as a voice on investment, leadership, and responsible capital in Asia.
