Jenn Johnson

Jenn Johnson is an American Christian worship singer, songwriter, pastor, speaker, and author recognized for her impact on contemporary worship music. Johnson is a co-founder and president of Bethel Music and Bethel Music Worship School, based in Redding, California. Alongside her husband, Brian Johnson, she helped establish Bethel Music, which has produced more than two dozen albums and influenced global worship practices through collaborations with artists such as Kari Jobe and Cory Asbury. She also serves as a senior worship pastor at Bethel Church in Redding and as a senior overseer of WorshipU, an online school of worship under Bethel Music that she co-founded with Brian Johnson.

Johnson's career spans more than two decades of songwriting and worship leadership. With her husband, she released three live albums under the name Brian & Jenn Johnson: "Undone," "We Believe," which marked their first appearance on Billboard's Christian Albums chart, and "Where You Go I Go." Johnson has written several anthems sung by churches worldwide, including "Goodness of God," "You're Gonna Be OK," and "God I Look to You." She and Brian Johnson have also produced and written Bethel Music songs such as "Forever," "No Longer Slaves," "Raise A Hallelujah," and "Ever Be." Johnson contributed "Holy Forever" on the album "Come Up Here" and "The Blood" on "Simple."

Among her notable contributions is the song "Goodness of God," which has become a defining anthem in modern worship. Released as a single from Bethel's live album "Victory," "Goodness of God" peaked at number 15 on the Hot Christian Songs chart and was nominated for the GMA Dove Award for Worship Recorded Song of the Year. The song won Song of the Year at the GMA Dove Awards and was identified by Premier Christianity magazine as one of the most sung worship songs in the UK according to CCLI data. CeCe Winans covered the song on her live album "Believe For It."

Beyond music, Johnson has expanded her work through entrepreneurship and authorship. She is the founder of Lovely by Jenn Johnson, a lifestyle brand focused on equipping women. Her debut book, "All Things Lovely," encourages women to pursue health and wholeness in all aspects of life. Johnson's leadership of Bethel Music Worship School and WorshipU has contributed to the training of worship leaders worldwide. Johnson also released her first solo studio album, "Happy," which features guest appearances from Tiffany Hudson, Gable Price, Brooke Ligertwood, Brian Johnson, and Kari Jobe.
