Jekalyn Carr is a Grammy Award-winning gospel singer, songwriter, author, actress, and motivational speaker recognized for her influence in contemporary gospel music. Carr began her musical journey in her church choir at age five and is a self-taught vocalist who became a main chorister in her neighborhood church. At 15, her career focus shifted to music when her single, "Greater Is Coming," debuted on Billboard's Gospel Music Top Ten. She released the album "Greater Is Coming," which reached No. 3 on Billboard's Gospel chart.

Carr has established herself as one of gospel music's top-selling independent artists. Her accolades include ten Stellar Awards, four GMA Dove Awards, and two Billboard Music Award nominations.
