Jeffrey Fidelman

Jeffrey Fidelman is an entrepreneur and financial expert with a background in investment banking and the startup ecosystem. Fidelman began his career in residential real estate as a broker before expanding into commercial real estate and finance. He served as a portfolio manager at Morgan Stanley, focusing on syndicate and pre- and post-market trading, and as vice president at HSBC, leading revenue strategy for Manhattan across banking, lending, insurance, and retail. At Morgan Stanley, he managed the syndication group for Private Wealth Management, while at HSBC, he collaborated with internal partners to increase revenue within the bank's Manhattan branches. Fidelman also established an early-stage venture capital fund, originating and investing in 45 seed-stage companies, and assisted founders with Series A financing preparation, investor presentations, and financial modeling.

After leaving the venture fund, Fidelman began advising portfolio companies and others, which led to the creation of Fidelman & Company. Fidelman & Company is a full-service investment bank supporting early-stage companies and emerging managers with fundraising materials and capital raises. Fidelman recognized a gap in early-stage companies' access to quality fundraising services and established the firm to address this need. The firm has grown to more than 40 remote professionals.

As an investment banker, Fidelman has acted as interim CFO for more than 300 companies and funds. He has served as interim CFO and COO for numerous companies during financial transactions, including capital raises, business sales, and acquisitions. Fidelman has been engaged by over 100 companies for fundraising collateral and management consulting, achieving consistent results with a high rate of successful capitalizations. His entrepreneurial experience includes founding a crowdfunded gift registry, a management consulting firm, co-founding a commercial real estate residual value insurance company, and a startup conference series.
