Jeff Tobaben

Jeff Tobaben is a human capital consultant, keynote speaker, and president of Evolve Performance Group, a consulting firm focused on employee engagement, customer engagement, and data-driven business results. Tobaben specializes in helping organizations use behavioral economics and workforce analytics to drive measurable improvements in organizational performance and sustainable growth.

Tobaben began his career in the automotive industry, where he developed human capital development and adult learning programs for major auto manufacturers and retailers. He created nationally recognized training programs for Toyota and Lexus and provided training, coaching, and implementation support to Gulf States Toyota dealers, transforming the Training Division into a profit center. Tobaben later founded a company focused on curriculum design and facilitation, which was acquired by Gallup Consulting. At Gallup, Tobaben served as managing partner in Texas, where he helped operationalize employee engagement and strengths-based development for clients in automotive, manufacturing, oil and gas, and financial services.

After Gallup closed its Houston office, Tobaben established Evolve Performance Group. He has since delivered employee and client engagement initiatives for Fortune 500 companies and smaller organizations in industries such as automotive, manufacturing, oil and gas, technology, distribution, and financial services. Evolve Performance Group’s approach is based on research involving millions of customers and employees across more than 30 industries, with scientific validity established over two decades. Clients have included Walmart, Waste Management, Northrop Grumman, Burlington Northern Santa Fe, Toyota, and Mercedes-Benz.
