Jeff Ross

Jeff Ross has actively contributed to the comedy scene since 1989, diversifying his involvement across various formats. A significant part of his career has been spent in roast comedy, earning him the moniker of "Roastmaster General." He has been a regular participant in the Comedy Central Roasts series and the New York Friars Club roasts. His work in this style of comedy has been so influential that it has drawn comparisons to Don Rickles by the Chicago Tribune. Further showcasing his versatility, Ross has also explored the world of film, directing the documentary "Patriot Act: A Jeffrey Ross Home Movie," which was awarded Best Film at the Comedia film festival in Montreal.

Ross has appeared in various roles on television, including creating and hosting "The Burn with Jeff Ross" on Comedy Central from 2012 to 2013, starring in "Jeff Ross Roasts Criminals: Live from Brazos County Jail" in 2015, and releasing "Jeff Ross Roasts Cops" in 2016. Additionally, he co-launched "Jeff Ross Presents Roast Battle" on Comedy Central in 2016, and his comedy tour with Dave Attell was featured in the Netflix three-part special "Bumping Mics with Jeff Ross & Dave Attell" in 2018. Ross will make his Broadway debut in a one-man autobiographical show called "Jeff Ross: Take a Banana for the Ride."

Extending his reach into literature, Ross published his first book, "I Only Roast the Ones I Love: Busting Balls Without Burning Bridges", in 2009. His voice acting ventures have added another dimension to his extensive career in entertainment, with roles in animated series like "Future-Worm!" and "Batman: The Brave and the Bold." His commitment to veterans was recognized in 2017, when the USO appointed him as the Ambassador of Veterans Outreach for the Artists & Athletes Alliance.
