Jeff Gothelf

Jeff Gothelf is a keynote speaker and author whose work focuses on product management, organizational design, and customer-centric innovation. Gothelf began his career as a designer, collaborating with early internet companies as they adopted digital channels for communication, sales, and service. Over more than two decades, he has held roles including information architect, design team leader, product manager, founder, trainer, coach, and consultant, gaining experience across multiple disciplines in the technology and digital product sectors.

Gothelf is the co-author, with Josh Seiden, of "Lean UX" and "Sense & Respond." "Lean UX" has sold over 100,000 copies in multiple languages and is recognized for its guidance on integrating product discovery and de-risking product development. "Sense & Respond," published by Harvard Business Review Press, was nominated for a Thinkers50 distinction in Innovation. His additional works include an extended essay on Lean, Agile, and Design Thinking, as well as "Forever Employable," which provides strategies for building resilient, adaptable careers in the digital economy. Gothelf and Seiden also co-authored "Who Does What By How Much?," a guide to implementing Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) in organizations, addressing the challenges of AI-powered productivity and value delivery. Collectively, Gothelf's books have sold nearly 200,000 copies worldwide.

Following the publication of "Lean UX" and "Sense & Respond," Gothelf and Seiden co-founded Sense & Respond Press, a publishing house dedicated to practical business books for executives. Gothelf is recognized for his expertise in transforming technical capabilities into customer value, modern AI product development, and building organizational cultures that support effective AI-driven product strategies.
