Jeetu Patel

Jeetu Patel is Cisco's president and chief product officer, overseeing global product vision and strategy for the technology company. Patel brings more than 20 years of senior leadership experience in product design, innovation, and business growth, with a career focused on transforming technology platforms and scaling enterprise software businesses.

Patel joined Cisco to lead the collaboration and security business, guiding the transformation of Webex and supporting customers through significant industry shifts. He has championed organic innovation, led key investments, and driven simplification across Cisco's multibillion-dollar portfolios, with a focus on design and user experience. As chief product officer, Patel leads several major categories, including networking, computing, security, Splunk, silicon, optics, and hardware systems.

Before Cisco, Patel served as chief product officer and chief strategy officer at Box, where he led product and platform strategy for cloud content management in the enterprise sector. He played a key role in expanding Box from a single-product application to a multi-product platform, growing the customer base to 100,000 organizations, including a significant portion of the Fortune 500, and scaling revenues and user adoption. Patel also held leadership roles at EMC Corporation as general manager and chief executive of the Syncplicity business unit, and at Doculabs, a research and advisory firm specializing in collaboration and content management.

Patel is recognized as a prominent voice in the technology industry on artificial intelligence and enterprise infrastructure. He has participated in major industry events, including Cisco Live and the Ai4 conference, discussing the impact of agentic AI, enterprise security, and the evolution of human collaboration with autonomous AI agents. Under Patel's leadership, Cisco has advanced innovation across its product portfolio, positioning the company as a key provider of infrastructure for the AI era. Patel also serves on the board of directors of Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated.
