Jasmine Tookes

Jasmine Tookes is an American fashion model known for her work in the global fashion and beauty industry. Before beginning her modeling career at age 15, Tookes spent 10 years training in gymnastics and participated in volleyball and softball, building an athletic foundation that contributed to her presence on the runway. She was discovered during one of her mother's showroom appointments, leading to early commercial campaigns for UGG Australia and Gap. Tookes later appeared in a Spring DKNY campaign and a layout in Vogue Italia. Models.com recognized her as one of the top 10 new models during fashion week, and Style named her its top new model based on her work for the Spring Fashion Shows.

Tookes's association with Victoria's Secret became a significant part of her career. She was among 11 new models to walk in the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show and later became a Victoria's Secret Angel. She was selected to wear the Bright Night Fantasy Bra, a custom piece designed by Eddie Borgo and valued at $3 million, featuring more than 450 carats of diamonds and emeralds set in 18-karat gold. Tookes became the third Black model to receive this distinction, following Tyra Banks and Selita Ebanks. She also appeared on Forbes' "The World's Highest Paid Models" list with estimated earnings of $4 million.

Tookes has been featured in editorials for Vogue editions in Italy, the United States, France, Germany, and Spain, as well as Harper's Bazaar, Numéro, W, and V. Her advertising campaigns include work for Bobbi Brown Cosmetics, Jimmy Choo, Calvin Klein, Lancôme, DKNY, Ralph Lauren, Kate Spade, Gap, UGG, and Victoria's Secret. She has also made a guest appearance on the CBS series "Hawaii Five-0" alongside Behati Prinsloo and Jacquelyn Jablonski. Tookes was ranked Most Beautiful Face in the World by TC Candler.

In addition to modeling, Tookes co-founded JOJA, an activewear company, with Josephine Skriver. She also co-founded the beauty brand Brunel, a body oil company focused on wellness and mindfulness, with Sabrina Castenfelt. Tookes made history by opening the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show in New York while nine months pregnant, becoming the first pregnant model to do so. This moment highlighted her influence in promoting body positivity and maternal strength within the fashion industry.
