Jared Bush

Jared Bush, the Chief Creative Officer of Walt Disney Animation Studios since 2024, has made significant contributions to the animation industry. He co-wrote and co-directed the acclaimed "Zootopia" and its subsequent sequel "Zootopia 2." Additionally, he penned the screenplays for "Moana," its sequel "Moana 2," and the forthcoming 2026 live-action remake of "Moana". Bush's creative talents extend beyond the realm of film, as he co-created and executive-produced the popular Disney XD animated series "Penn Zero: Part-Time Hero".

Bush's accomplishments have not gone unnoticed. His brilliant work on "Encanto" garnered him an Academy Award for Best Animated Feature. Further attesting to his proficiency in storytelling, Bush and Phil Johnston received the Annie Award for Outstanding Achievement for Writing in a Feature Production in 2016 for their collaborative effort on "Zootopia".
