Jane Wiseman

Jane Wiseman is a television executive serving as executive vice president and head of originals for Paramount+. In this role, Wiseman leads the development and production of the platform's original content, including "Landman," "MobLand," "The Madison," "Dexter," and "Yellowjackets," as well as greenlit series such as "Discretion" starring Nicole Kidman and Elle Fanning, "9/12" starring Jeremy Strong, and "Fear Not" starring Anne Hathaway. Her appointment was part of a broader leadership expansion under Cindy Holland, chair of direct-to-consumer for Paramount Skydance, with whom Wiseman has an established professional history.

Wiseman's career includes experience in streaming, broadcast, and premium scripted television. She was among the first executives hired to build the Netflix Original Series team, serving as vice president of original series and head of comedy. At Netflix, Wiseman contributed to the launch of series including "Ozark," "Narcos," "Dead to Me," "Russian Doll," "Master of None," "Never Have I Ever," "Big Mouth," "BoJack Horseman," "The Kominsky Method," and "Grace and Frankie." Her tenure at Netflix played a role in the platform's global expansion into original content.

Prior to Netflix, Wiseman held senior roles in broadcast television. As senior vice president at Chernin Entertainment, she worked on "New Girl" for FOX. At NBC, she served as senior vice president of comedy, developing series such as "Parks and Recreation" and "Community." Wiseman began her career at FOX, contributing to the development of "Arrested Development" and "The Simple Life." Her experience spans both broadcast and streaming, providing a comprehensive perspective on the television industry.

Between her time at Netflix and Paramount+, Wiseman served as head of U.S. television at Sister, overseeing the company's TV division with a focus on developing and producing premium scripted series. She has been recognized on the Cablefax 100 list, which highlights leaders in the media industry, and has been honored by the Los Angeles I Have a Dream Foundation at the Dream Big Gala, which celebrates local leaders and recognizes the accomplishments of youth.
