Jameson Rodgers

Jameson Rodgers is an American country music singer-songwriter known for his enduring presence in the Nashville music scene. A Mississippi native, Rodgers relocated to Nashville to pursue songwriting, finding it to be a vital outlet for creative expression. Early in his career, Rodgers received the ASCAP Foundation Leon Brettler Award and secured a publishing deal with Combustion Music, which allowed him to focus on songwriting and collaborate with other emerging artists in the country music industry.

Rodgers established himself as a songwriter by co-writing multi-Platinum hits for Florida Georgia Line, including the Top 10 single "Talk You Out of It," and Chris Lane's No. 1 single "I Don't Know About You." He also contributed "Camouflage Hat" to Jason Aldean's album "9" and the title track for Luke Bryan's "Born Here Live Here Die Here." His early artist EP led to performance opportunities and helped him build a dedicated fanbase, including support from Luke Combs. Rodgers later joined Combs on the "Beer Never Broke My Heart Tour," performing in more than 60 arenas across the United States and Canada.

As a recording artist, Rodgers achieved significant success with his debut single "Some Girls," which reached No. 1 on the Billboard Country Airplay chart after a 49-week climb, the longest for a debut single by a solo male artist. The single also peaked at No. 29 on the Billboard Hot 100 and earned Platinum certification from the RIAA. Rodgers followed with "Cold Beer Calling My Name" featuring Luke Combs, which also topped the Country Airplay chart and received Platinum certification. He was recognized with the MusicRow Discovery Artist of the Year award.

Rodgers released his debut studio album, "Bet You're from a Small Town," through Columbia Nashville and River House Artists. The album features 15 tracks, 14 of which Rodgers co-wrote, and explores themes of small-town life, nostalgia, heartbreak, and rural Americana. Critics noted the album's storytelling and its blend of traditional and modern country music elements. After his major label tenure, Rodgers became an independent artist, releasing "Whiskey Train," which highlights resilience, and "Down by the River," a reflective track on Southern life. Throughout his career, Rodgers has maintained a reputation for authenticity and perseverance, resonating with country music fans through his storytelling and dedication to the genre.
