James Hamilton

James Hamilton is a nationally recognized personal security expert and former FBI Supervisory Special Agent with more than three decades of experience in executive protection and violence prevention. During his 18-year tenure with the FBI, Hamilton served on the FBI Director's Protective Detail and FBI SWAT Team, acted as personal security advisor to the U.S. Attorney General and two FBI Directors, and served as a Joint Terrorism Task Force coordinator. He was the Supervisory Special Agent selected to create, develop, and implement the FBI Academy's Protective Training curriculum, a program taught to protectors of the U.S. Attorney General, the Director of the FBI, the NSA, and the NYPD, among other agencies.

After his government service, Hamilton transitioned to the private sector, providing security consulting to high-net-worth individuals and their families as a senior vice president at Gavin de Becker and Associates. His mission is to deliver government-level protective intelligence to every client, from global corporations to individuals seeking personal safety guidance. He also created the "Executive Protection Improvement Seminar," a one-day training course for private-sector executive protection teams. For more than 20 years, Hamilton has provided house of worship security consultations to religious organizations across multiple denominations nationwide.
