Jalen Brunson

Jalen Brunson is a professional basketball player and point guard for the New York Knicks. Brunson developed his basketball foundation at Villanova, where he contributed to two NCAA national championships and earned individual honors including the John Wooden Award, the Naismith Award, and the Bob Cousy Award. He was selected 33rd overall in the NBA Draft by the Dallas Mavericks, where he spent his first four professional seasons before joining New York.

Upon joining the Knicks as a free agent, Brunson played a key role in the team's postseason resurgence. Prior to his arrival, the Knicks had won only one playoff series in more than two decades; with Brunson, they advanced past the first round in each of his first four seasons. He was named the NBA's Clutch Player of the Year and earned multiple All-NBA Second Team selections. In the NBA Finals against the San Antonio Spurs, he averaged 32.6 points per series and scored 45 points in the decisive Game 5, becoming the fourth player in NBA history to score 45 points in a closeout Finals game.
