Jai Singh Arun

Jai Singh Arun is a senior technology executive at IBM with a career spanning more than two decades in artificial intelligence, blockchain, cybersecurity, and quantum computing. Arun serves as the global head of product management and go-to-market strategy for IBM Quantum Safe software and services, overseeing global business strategy, product management, engineering, and go-to-market execution for quantum-safe solutions. At IBM, Arun has held senior leadership roles, leading research strategy, offering management, and business development for innovations in artificial intelligence, blockchain, cybersecurity, and quantum computing.

With over 25 years of experience, Arun has spent 19 years at IBM and six years with Unisys, Tata Institute of Fundamental Research, and Diablo Technologies. He has developed a mix of business and technology leadership experience, with skills in product management, corporate business strategy, marketing, sales enablement, software engineering and development, and customer support for enterprise-class business solutions and services. Prior to his current role, Arun led IBM's integrated security solutions, expanding the business in cloud security, zero trust, threat management, governance, risk, and compliance solutions, and advanced IBM's Security as a Service mission.

Arun is the co-author of "Blockchain for Business," published by Pearson (Addison-Wesley), a resource for business and technology leaders in banking and enterprise sectors. He also authored "Becoming Quantum Safe: Implementing Post-Quantum Cryptography to Mitigate Risks and Protect Your Business," a guide for CISOs, CTOs, CIOs, and security leaders addressing the challenges quantum computing poses to cryptography. Arun holds several USPTO-granted patents and inventions.

Arun earned an MBA with a concentration in strategy, marketing, and finance from University of North Carolina Chapel Hill, a Master of Engineering in computer engineering from Veermata Jijabai Technological Institute, University of Mumbai, and a Bachelor of Engineering in computer science from National Institute of Technology, Bhopal, India. He attended Harvard University for an executive leadership and management program and is a certified project manager (PMP from PMI) and certified information security manager (CISM from ISACA).

Arun is a featured speaker at business and technology innovation conferences worldwide. He has been an expert at the RSA Conference and participated in forums such as the KPMG US Post-Quantum Readiness Forum. Arun has been inducted into the CSO Online Hall of Fame, recognizing his influence in enterprise cybersecurity and quantum-safe technology.
