Jacqueline Rhinehart

Jacqueline Rhinehart is a music marketing and publicity executive whose career spans more than three decades in the recording industry. Rhinehart began her career as director of artist development at Hush Productions, a full-service entertainment company, before advancing through a series of roles that shaped the landscape of urban music marketing.

Before her tenure at Universal/Motown Records, Rhinehart served as senior director of publicity at Arista Records, working under the leadership of Clive Davis. At Arista, she coordinated the media launch for LaFace Records and Bad Boy Records and managed media campaigns for artists including Dionne Warwick, Aretha Franklin, Whitney Houston, TLC, Deborah Cox, Monica, The Notorious B.I.G., Sean Combs, and Kenny G. She also played a key role in the publicity campaigns for the soundtracks "Waiting to Exhale" and "The Preacher's Wife." Her experience includes senior positions at PolyGram/Mercury and Uptown/MCA Records, where she worked with artists such as Vanessa Williams, Oleta Adams, Tony! Toni! Toné!, Brian McKnight, Mary J. Blige, and Heavy D.

As the first senior vice president of marketing at Universal Records, part of Universal Music Group and Motown Records, Rhinehart directed multi-million dollar advertising and media campaigns and developed cross-promotional ventures between Universal/Motown artists and companies such as Coca-Cola, Seagram, Budweiser, BET, and MTV. Artists including Nelly, Erykah Badu, Cash Money, Boyz II Men, and Sean Combs's Bad Boy Entertainment benefited from her marketing expertise. At Mercury Records, Rhinehart contributed to transforming Vanessa Williams into a gold and platinum-selling artist.

Rhinehart is the president and founder of Organic Soul Multicultural Marketing, Inc., a firm that integrates entertainment concepts into creative marketing and branding opportunities. She has contributed to books including "Women Behind The Mic: Curators of Pop Culture, Volume One," "Inside The Minds/CMO Leader Strategies: Top Executives on Creating and Delivering Successful Marketing Campaigns That Impact the Bottom Line," and "Handle Your Entertainment Business." Rhinehart serves as vice president and board member of the Living Legends Foundation and has received the Creative Visionary Award at the organization's Hip-Hop at 50 ceremony. She is a member of the National Association of Female Executives, the National Association of Black Female Entertainment and Music Executives, and a voting member of the National Association of Recording Arts and Sciences. Her experience in artist development, music publicity, and brand partnerships continues to influence the music industry.
