Jacque Reid

Jacque Reid is an Emmy Award-winning journalist, television and radio personality whose career spans local news, national broadcast networks, and digital media. Reid earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in print journalism from Clark Atlanta University and a Master of Science degree in broadcast journalism from Northwestern University's Medill School of Journalism.

Her early career included serving as a news anchor for CNN Headline News, where she delivered national and international updates, and then as the lead news anchor for "BET Nightly News," establishing her as a prominent voice for news relevant to Black audiences. Reid returned to CNN to cover the Republican National Convention as a special correspondent and commentator for "Larry King Live."

Reid began her career as a local news journalist and moved to the national stage, interviewing Presidents Barack Obama and Bill Clinton, and covering Republican and Democratic conventions. She has also reported from Darfur, South Africa, and Mexico City. Following her network news roles, Reid co-anchored entertainment and news segments on the nationally syndicated "Tom Joyner Morning Show" and made multiple guest appearances as a co-host on ABC's "The View." As a correspondent for the "Tom Joyner Morning Show," she presented her segment, "Inside Her Story," which focused on women's issues. With more than 15 years of broadcasting experience in news, lifestyle, and entertainment reporting, Reid has interviewed influential figures including Presidents Barack Obama and Bill Clinton, Will Smith, Jamie Foxx, and Beyoncé.

Reid is an Emmy Award-winning co-host of "New York Live," where she covers fashion trends, celebrity news, food, restaurants, and entertainment. In addition to "New York Live," she has hosted "The Hub Today" in Boston, providing entertainment news and lifestyle coverage for audiences in both cities. Reid has also co-hosted the Golden Globe Awards red carpet coverage, alongside Sara Gore and Lilliana Vazquez.

Reid created Jacque Reid Media, a media resource for television and film. She also initiated the brand "Vegan Sexy Cool," an online platform that includes a digital lifestyle magazine and podcast, curating content for vegans, those transitioning to veganism, and individuals interested in the vegan lifestyle. Reid further established her independent voice with "The Jacque Reid Experience," a solo podcast she produces and hosts, focusing on wellness, career advice, and interviews with experts and influencers. She is also the creator and editor-in-chief of SingleandLivingFAB.com, a lifestyle website for single women.

Reid received the Spirit of Greatness Award from Clark Atlanta University in recognition of her career in journalism, media production, and advocacy for wellness and community issues. She was also honored at the Black Media Honors for her impact on Black media through broadcasting, podcasting, and public speaking on diversity and inclusion. Reid is a member of the National Association of Black Journalists and has served on boards including Black Girls Rock and The Black and Missing Foundation. Through her nonprofit, the Reid Group, she works to provide opportunities for minority students in media, modeled after the program that shaped her own career. Reid's experience spans breaking news, lifestyle television, and entrepreneurial media ventures, establishing her as a voice for audiences across platforms.
