Jackson Koivun

Jackson Koivun is an American professional golfer who has established a significant presence on the PGA Tour. During his collegiate career at Auburn University, Koivun achieved a series of notable accomplishments, including winning the SEC Championship and finishing as runner-up at the NCAA Division I Men's Individual Championship. He became the first player to sweep all four major collegiate awards in a single season: the Haskins Award, Jack Nicklaus Award, Ben Hogan Award, and Phil Mickelson Award. Koivun was also the first freshman since Justin Thomas to win the Haskins Award, which recognizes the top collegiate golfer in the nation. He contributed a 3-0 match-play record to help Auburn secure its first NCAA team title while narrowly missing the individual championship.

Koivun spent 56 weeks ranked No. 1 in the World Amateur Golf Ranking, marking the third-longest tenure in the ranking's history. He concluded his collegiate career with 11 wins, the most in Auburn history and tied for seventh in NCAA history. Koivun became the first player to win all three national player of the year awards (Haskins, Hogan, Nicklaus) twice and was named Southeastern Conference Player of the Year three times. He set the NCAA career record for per-round stroke average at 68.89 and played a key role in Auburn's national championship run. Koivun also participated in the Elite Amateur Program, a U.S. National Development Program established by the USGA.

Internationally, Koivun earned the Mark H. McCormack Medal as the world's leading male amateur golfer. He was a member of the winning USA Walker Cup Team at Cypress Point Club and represented the United States in the Junior Presidents Cup and Arnold Palmer Cup. As an amateur, Koivun made multiple appearances on the PGA Tour, recording three top-15 finishes in six starts.

After turning professional, Koivun quickly made an impact by winning the 3M Open in his third start, finishing with a tournament-record 25-under 259 total. He secured the victory by three strokes over Scottie Scheffler, highlighted by a final-round 5-under 66. With this win, Koivun earned exemptions into THE PLAYERS Championship, the Masters, and the PGA Championship, and secured his PGA Tour status through 2028. Koivun's achievements underscore his position as a prominent figure in professional golf.
