Jack Schlossberg

Jack Schlossberg is a writer and political commentator, recognized as the only grandson of President John F. Kennedy and Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis. The son of U.S. Ambassador Caroline Kennedy, Schlossberg graduated from Yale University, where he studied Japanese history, and later earned both a JD and an MBA from Harvard Law School and Harvard Business School. His professional experience includes roles with Rakuten, a Japanese internet and e-commerce company, and Suntory Holdings, a Japanese brewing and beverage company. He passed the New York bar exam and has pursued creative projects, including acting auditions and authoring a book. Schlossberg made his acting debut with a cameo on the television show "Blue Bloods."

Schlossberg has contributed to publications and news outlets such as Time, The Washington Post, New York Magazine, Politico, and CNN, as well as op-eds for The New York Times, USA Today, and HuffPost. He gained a significant following through comedic and political TikTok videos, which led to his role as a political correspondent for Vogue. In this capacity, Schlossberg has combined his legal and business background to cover presidential election cycles and engage Gen Z voters. He has stated, "If you're going to ask people to think about something serious, you need to make it entertaining or fun," a philosophy that guides his approach to public engagement.

Schlossberg has served as chair of the selection committee for the New Frontier Award at the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum and has participated as event host, presenter, and member of the annual Profile in Courage Award selection committee. He delivered a virtual address at the Democratic National Convention alongside his mother, endorsing Joe Biden, and later gave an in-person speech at the convention endorsing Kamala Harris. Schlossberg has also publicly addressed his views on Robert F. Kennedy Jr.'s independent presidential run and has endorsed President Biden's reelection bid.

Active on social media, Schlossberg has built a following of more than 1.7 million across X, Instagram, and TikTok. He is recognized for reaching Gen Z and young voters through digital platforms, sharing content to educate and engage new voters. Schlossberg announced his candidacy for the Democratic nomination in New York's 12th Congressional District, seeking the seat vacated by Jerry Nadler. His campaign quickly raised nearly $600,000 from over 200 supporters, drawing attention as an emerging voice in American politics.
